The university had roots in Pécs in 1367 by King Louis I the Great and the modern college of this university was founded in 1912. The University of Pécs has transformed the city into Univer-city through its spread of faculties all across the city. The faculties of the university are spread over Pécs where most of the facilities students can get within walking distance. Damjanich Dormitory: This is a newly built and well-furnished building of the university. This dormitory is located near the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. Damjanich Dormitory offers you a safe environment with 24/7 reception services, an installed fire alarm system and an access control system for university students.

Balassa Dormitory: This Dormitory is located 15 minutes away from the city center and easily approachable from the bus and train station. The housing offers 24/7 security to students and the rooms are equipped with separate wardrobes, 2 beds and 2 desks.
