Overview

The University College Cork was established in 1845, it is one of the oldest universities in Ireland and a constituent university of the National University of Ireland (NUI) system. University College Cork is globally recognized for its academic excellence and vibrant research environment. The college remained in 1849 with 23 lecturers and 181 students. As of 2016, University College Cork had 21,000 students. These involve 15,000 in undergraduate programs, 4,400 in postgraduate study and analysis, and 2,800 in mature student sustained instruction at the undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programs. The student substructure is accommodated by 2,800 academics, scholars and executive employees. As of 2017, University College Cork allegedly had 150,000 graduates globally. A year later the college continued to form the Queen’s University of Ireland. It has a yearly increment of over 20,000 students coming from more than 104 countries in 2023.
