Overview

The University of Limerick is a public research university in Limerick, Ireland. This University was founded in 1972. It was the first university established since the Irish separation in 1992, regarded by the organization of Dublin City University belatedly the same day. Conforming to establish administrative authority Edward M. Walsh, the authority of Limerick registered for a college of the organized Queen’s University of Ireland to be situated rather in the city. However, in 1850, Queen’s College, Belfast, Cork and Galway were established alternatively. In 1908 there was a venture to connect the National University of Ireland and Mungret College, about 5 kilometers from Limerick. Mungret provided bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in the division of arts, with intensity presented by the Royal University of Ireland, from 1888 to 1908. The university was dissolved in 1909 and reinstated by the National University of Ireland, marking the end of tertiary education at Mungret.

Thomond Village: Thomond Village is situated on the North Campus which is connected to the South Campus utilizing an amazing flyover across the river Shannon. Thomond Village provides a 4/6 bedroom residence with impressive views of the river Shannon and the Errina vessel. All bedrooms provide lavatory bathrooms. The village has its own washateria and study intersection. 

Dromroe Village: Dromroe Village is a charming residence-style structure, encircling the Mill Rivulet and disregarding the Shannon River, near the central hostels. It has 2 and 6-bedroom residences, all with lavatory amenities. It is absolutely for advanced students who want more space and important study conditions. First-years or freshers can register to live in Dromroe too. We also provide rooms for students with decreased mobility and residences appropriate for families.
