The Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF)  is located in Chișinău, Moldova. The university was established in 1945 which is also known as Nicolae Testemițanu. It is the most popular educational institute in the country and also as an active teaching hospital that serves a large population. Earlier the university was known as Chişinău State University of Pharmacy and Medicine which was later in 1990 renamed as Nicolae Testemițanu, for respecting a great scientist, surgeon, speaker and the minister of health of the country for the period of 1963 to 1968.
