Overview

The University of Warsaw is a public research university in Warsaw, Poland. The university was founded on 19 November 1816, it is the biggest university of higher studies in the nation providing 37 different fields of study as well as 100 expertise in humanities, technical and the natural sciences. The institute soon spread to 800 students and 50 lecturers. After the students and lecturers got part in the November 1830 revolution the institute was shut down; it was once more shut after the failed January revolution of 1863. As a result, all Polish language schools were restrained by the Imperial Russian government which managed congress Poland. However, many lecturers arranged the supposed “Secret University of Warsaw”. By 1944, there were more than 300 professors and 3,500 students at several courses. In 1999, a new University of Warsaw information center was opened in Powisle. After Poland connected the European Union in 2004, the institute acquired attendant collection from the European organizational and expenditure collection for the building of further construction consisting of the biological and chemical research hub, Center of New Technologies, and a new construction for the faculty of physics.
