Australia is Going to Introduce Strict Regulations To Crackdown on International Visa Scam

Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil, Education Minister Jason Clare and Skills Minister Brendan O'Connor shared their desires to resolve the exploitation of the visa system of Australia with Xinhua news agency. The government of Australia reported and highlighted a 'widespread rotting of Australia's visa system’.
Mr O'Neil shared with Xinhua news agency that “ The game is over, the drawbacks we have in our visa system are going to shut down soon”.
To crackdown the international visa scam, Australia is going to make amendments in their Education Services for International Students Act 2000. These amendments will help in creating a proper and suitable test provider to improve the standards of admission and registration process for international students. It will also restrict cross-ownership between education providers and agents. The crackdown on agents will restrict private institutes from paying commissions to education agents which will save international students from rival colleges. These moves are important to prevent international students from being lured away from world-class universities of Australia to affordable-fee courses.
The government of Australia is also planning to monitor the attendance of international students in their chosen universities to restrict migrants from using student visas for their working purposes.
