Students Pursuing an MBBS Abroad Have Degree Risk Due to Tight Deadlines of Eligibility Criteria

Delays in getting eligibility documents could result in the revocation of a medical student's degree if they are pursuing an MBBS abroad. The NMC has extended a grace period and encouraged students to rectify deficiencies.

Recently, the EMRB (Examination and Medical Registration Board) of the NMC (National Medical Commission) has found deficiencies in the application process for eligibility certificate submission through medical international students.

A huge number of students are pursuing their medical education abroad without submitting required eligibility certificates which is raising concerns about the validity of their medical degrees abroad.

There is an opportunity to Rectify

Through an official notification, the NMC has extended a grace period for international medical students to rectify the situation. Now students can submit their applications until January 5, 2024, in the eligibility portal of the NMC.

Submitting all essential requirements and detailed knowledge of abroad programs is important for students to make their abroad journey successful. Students can get help from a study abroad consultancy such as Career Clinic to ensure their guaranteed admission and get updated with the latest study abroad news
