Indian Students Who Want to Study Abroad- Do We Bring Our Family?

A remarkable increase in the number of Indian students pursuing higher education from abroad has been witnessed. Currently, approximately 13,00,000 students get enrolled in reputed colleges and universities abroad across 79 countries. To get education abroad, a big deciding factor for Indian students wishing to study abroad is the policy of the selected country's dependents- partners and children of primary visa applicants.

These policies are an important consideration for overseas aspirants which evaluate their options depending on the facilities to bring their families, while studying abroad. It also includes spousal employment opportunities and accessibility of education quality and healthcare for dependents.

Students can bring their families in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Ireland.

United State: Indian students can bring their dependents to study in the USA by adding an F-2 visa application for each family member. It allows them to stay with their family during their education period.
