NLUD & SOAS Collaborate: Introduced joint LLM/MA Program on Environmental Justice in South Asia

NLUD and SOAS University of London have agreed to offer a one-year Joint LLM/MA in Environmental Justice in South Asia. This collaborative program will be jointly designed, delivered, and awarded by both institutions.

Applications for this joint degree are now open, and the first group of students is expected to begin in September 2024. Interested individuals can find more information and apply on the web pages of SOAS and NLUD.

This joint degree aligns with NLU Delhi's commitment to internationalization and innovation as outlined in the National Education Policy, 2020. It allows students to split their time between SOAS London and NLUD India.

This program aims to make it more accessible and financially feasible for international students. Not only will students have the opportunity to study at SOAS, University of London, but they will also only be required to pay half of the typical fees charged to international students at British universities.

By participating in this joint degree, students will enhance their research skills through rigorous classroom teaching, engage in a clinical component in India, and complete a dissertation. Graduates can expect to pursue advanced careers in research, academia, policy, international development, and strategic litigation.
