Policy Changes in EB-5 Visa Program to Study in the USA

The EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 has changed the EB-5 visa program for international students, which will impact the minimum investment period. On October 11, 2023, the changes were approved by the USCIS which will motivate Indian students to study in the USA.

Now, investors need to maintain their funds at risk for two years to streamline the Green Line process. The evaluated EB-5 program is supported by Nicholas A. Mastroianni III of the US Immigration Fund (USIF), offers Indian students to study at reputed US universities, grab job opportunities and create a pathway to permanent residency in the US to enhance their educational and career prospects.

The program is highly advantageous for those Indian students seeking to get job opportunities in the US, allowing international students to get easy off-campus work and internship work opportunities to gain valuable work experience.

The EB-5 visa will prove beneficial for Indian students in various ways such as access to high-quality education and better career opportunities in the UK. It will also provide a possibility to apply for US citizenship after 5 years of residence.

The EB-5 visa also leads to a green card that will allow Indian students to access the top US universities and colleges which will significantly reduce their cost of tuition fees.

Additionally, it will provide Indian students with a great level of stability and flexibility while studying in the USA. Now, they don’t have to worry about a full course load and working in off-campus jobs.

All these flexibilities are raising the ranking of the US as the best study-abroad destination. If you are all set to fly to the UK, start your journey with Career Clinic and get updated with such useful study abroad updates
